Dr Natalya Mendez graduated from the New Jersey Dental School in 2010 and spent the first 5 years of her dental career serving in various public health settings across the great state of Texas. In 2015, she fulfilled an 8 year old dream of moving to North Carolina, where she settled in the wonderful town of Asheboro. She loves serving the people of Randolph County and pursues every opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors. From 2017 to 2019, Natalya combined her love for hiking with a passion for service, by completing 3 Make-A-Wish Foundation's Trailblaze Challenges. After months of training, about 180 hikers gather over 2 weekends, raising almost half a million dollars, while completing 28.3 miles in a single day. Natalya also loves exploring the oceanic world via SCUBA diving as well as visiting family and friends across the country. A consummate student, she constantly strives to improve her skills and broaden her scope of practice via continuing educations. She is an active member of the American Orthodontic Society and a certified provider of the Inman Aligner, an award winning family of appliances for straightening front teeth. Dr Mendez is also a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. In May 2019, in a ceremony performed in Baden-Baden, Germany, she was awarded her Fellowship by the ICOI. |
